The Leather Primer EXPERT LINE adhesion activator with Vibrant Plus+ technology is indispensable for ensuring an unprecedented bond between leather and paint.
The Leather Primer, which acts as a primer before the paint is applied, creates a perfect bond between the paint and the leather.
It has unique characteristics, such as:

Description
The unique property of the Leather Primer EXPERT LINE adhesion activator is the chemical modification of leather surface, whereby the paint adheres not to the leather but to the layer formed by the adhesion activator, forming a single leather-paint layer.
The adhesion properties of the Leather Primer EXPERT LINE are much higher than those of the dye, therefore its preapplication will create a better bond between the dye and the leather surface than the dye itself.
The Leather Primer EXPERT LINE adhesion activator is ideal for use in all restorative applications, particularly in areas subjected to high levels of stress and abrasion, such as the side supports of seats. Using an adhesion activator, you can achieve a longer-lasting and better-quality repair of your leather goods.
The Leather Primer EXPERT LINE adhesion activator is ideal for use where leather is severely damaged. In these cases, the adhesion activator fills in the smallest of creases, acting as a kind of filler, which makes the subsequent application of the Leather Colourant leather paint more ideal and even. This creates a uniform topcoat and reduces the risk of cracking of the finish coat during use.

Instructions
The process of leather restoration consists of several important steps, which must be carefully followed in order to obtain a quality result.
The leather surface to be restored must be thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt and foreign matter, using a professional the Leather Ultimate Cleaner.
In the case of heavy soiling and grease stains in the leather, the dirt and grease must first be removed using the Leather Degreaser.
After thoroughly cleaning and preparing the leather, it should be degreased using the Leather Alcohol Cleaner or the Leather Liquid Degreaser
After thorough cleaning and preparing of the leather, you can proceed to apply the Leather Primer.
Add between 5% and 15% (depending on the substrate) of the total volume of the Leather Primer to the polyurethane curing agent (Cross Linker X).
The Cross Linker X urethane curing agent initiates a chemical reaction which causes the adhesion properties of the Leather Primer to improve dramatically, in addition to making the coating more resistant to moisture and solvents. It also leads to the formation of molecular bonds between the paint layer and the Leather Primer.
Apply the first base coat with a sponge and dry with a hairdryer. This is to allow the adhesion activator to firmly bond to the surface. It is important to dry the Leather Primer with hot air after applying each coat, as heating improves the chemical reaction and makes it better.
Apply two coats with an airbrush. Use a vertical stroke for the first coat and a horizontal stroke for the second coat, and remember to dry it with a hair dryer. Apply the next two coats in the same way as the first two, but using diagonal strokes. This ensures an even distribution of the Leather Primer on leather and vinyl.
Dry each coat thoroughly with a hairdryer. After mixing the Leather Primer with the Cross Linker X, the mixture is ready for use within 3 hours. It is best to paint the surface almost immediately after applying the Leather Primer.
TOOL CLEANING
After all coatings have been applied, rinse the tools used with water and if necessary, use LeTech Leather Prep paint thinner.
