LeTech Leather Slip Additive EXPERT LINE serves to build up a low-wear finish on leather that provides additional protection against scratches, scuffs and other mechanical impairments. Adding the Leather Slip Additive to leather finishes, not only improves the anti-wear properties of the leather, but also the tactile feel of the leather.
It has to be mentioned that the Leather Slip Additive does not reduce leather's vapour permeability, heat and moisture exchange properties.
Adding the Leather Slip Additive to Leather Top Coat finishes, it increases the resistance of the coating to various types of dirt.
The Leather Slip Additive EXPERT LINE is water-based, colourless and complies with all environmental and toxicological standards.
The Leather Slip Additive EXPERT LINE unique anti-wear additive is ideal for:

APPLICATION
After painting, we recommend protecting the leather surface with LeTech Leather Top Coat and adding Cross Linker X 5-10% of the total product volume, as well as adding the Leather Slip Additive 7-10% of the total product volume.
Leather Top Coat protective varnishes with the addition of the Leather Slip Additive, significantly increases resistance to abrasion and performance stress, also gives the leather a dirt-repellent properties and a pleasant tactile feel.

The Leather Top Coat protection varnish with the leather additive is applied as a final step, after the leather has been repaired and coloured, to ensure that the result is firmly fixed. It is ideal to apply the product by spraying it on with an airbrush or airbrush gun. This allows you to get an even film and the necessary protective coating characteristics. Avoid applying too much varnish as too thick layers of barrier varnish can discolour the leather and make it harder to handle.
The drying time of the Leather Top Coat depends on the temperature and humidity of the environment. The Leather Top Coat can usually be used after 2-3 hours after restoration, but the complete curing and crystallisation process takes 8-12 hours.
It is not recommended to expose the leather to cleaning agents and various leather care products in the first week after restoration and application of the Leather Top Coat. One week after restoration, the leather can be used without restrictions.
