Description
The Leather Solvent Cleaner EXPERT LINE helps you to solve a number of important tasks in leather preparation:
1. Removing embedded stains and blemishes from leather.
The Leather Solvent Cleaner works very gently and effectively in the removal of soiling. The principle of the composition is to partially and gently remove the uppermost, finishing layer from the surface of the leather, which contains foreign dye.
The action of the remover leads to gentle movement and gentle softening of the leather finish, which allows to remove only the required volume of the surface layer. At the same time, the advantage of the Leather Solvent Cleaner is the ability to not affect the entire finish layer and cause it to swell and break down, while completely preserving the paint layer.
2. Preparing the leather for painting and enhancing paint adhesion.
The Leather Solvent Cleaner is ideal as a preparatory product, due to its gentle softening of the upper finishing layer of leather. The leather surface is temporarily made more tacky, at which point the adhesive bond is greatly enhanced, allowing the paint and finish to adhere more readily to the leather and do a better job.
The Leather Solvent Cleaner EXPERT LINE is an ideal primer to assist in treating the following leathers:
- Automotive leather;
- Leather for furniture;
- Footwear and clothing leather;
- Leather goods;

REMOVING STAINS AND MARKS FROM THE LEATHER
Apply a small amount of the Leather Solvent Cleaner to a terry towel or non-woven towel and gently begin wiping away any stains or embedded stains on the leather. It is important not to put too much pressure on the towel so as not to damage the leather finish. If the stain is not gone after the first application, allow the surface to dry slightly for 10-15 minutes and repeat the process.
PREPARATION OF THE LEATHER FOR PAINTING AND STRENGTHENING THE ADHESION OF THE PAINT TO THE SURFACE
Apply a small amount of the Leather Solvent Cleaner on a terry towel or a non-woven towel and start wiping the leather surface in a single stroke, after the first pass you will feel the tackiness of the upper finishing layer. Repeat the rubbing process several times and you can then move on to painting or applying a the Leather Top Coat.
The leather staining process consists of several important steps that must be carefully followed in order to obtain a quality result.
The surface to be painted must be thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt and impurities, using a professional Leather Ultimate Cleaner. In the case of deep impurities in the leather, the dirt and grease should be removed first using the Leather Degreaser. If the leather is damaged or the paintwork is damaged, the loose old paintwork should first be removed using the Leather Solvent Cleaner or the Leather Prep.
After thorough cleaning and preparing of leather, degrease it with the Leather Alcohol Cleaner and apply the Leather Primer, adding 5-10% of the product to the leather surface. Subsequently proceed to applying the Leather Colourant and the Leather Top Coat.
