Description
The uniqueness of the product lies in the fact that its use extends the horizon of possibilities of LeTech technology, enabling to impart different properties to leather, depending on its purpose and type, because the tactile perception of the leather surface can change the general evaluation of leather and its restoration.
The Leather Wax-Effect Additive, serves to form target surface characteristics that can be defined as non-slip. The Leather Wax-Effect Additive when added to the Leather Top Coat, does not modify the visual and optical properties, while the tactile sensation of touch is likened to that of a warm, velvety and soft surface. The Leather Wax-Effect Additive has excellent waxy and anti-slip properties, which can make leather goods more comfortable to use.
The Leather Wax-Effect Additive EXPERT LINE is water-based, does not discolour the underlying pigmented layer, and complies with environmental and toxicological standards.
The Leather Wax-Effect Additive was developed using the latest technology in leather production and has a complex of properties, such as:

The unique Leather Wax-Effect Additive EXPERT LINE from LeTech refers to professional materials, working with it to the fullest extent, requires a certain application technique as well as an understanding of the properties of this product.

APPLICATION OF THE FINISH
After painting the leather, we recommend protecting the surface with LeTech Leather Top Coat and adding the Leather Cross Linker X 5-10 % of the total product volume and adding the Leather Wax-Effect Additive 7-10 % of the total product volume.
With the LeTech EXPERT LINE range of protective coatings, you can customise the matte or gloss finish of your leather and the tactile properties you want from our range of unique additives for protective varnishes:
- Leather Slip Additive;
- Leather Wax-Effect Additive;
- Leather X-GUARD Additive;
- Leather Casein Additive;
- Leather Thickening Agent.
The Leather Top Coat protection varnish with the Leather additive is applied as a final step, after the leather has been repaired and coloured, to ensure that the result is firmly fixed. It is ideal to apply the product by spraying it on with an airbrush or airbrush gun. This allows you to get an even film and the necessary protective coating characteristics. Avoid applying too much varnish as too thick layers of barrier varnish can discolour the leather and make it harder to handle.
The drying time of the Leather Top Coat depends on the temperature and humidity of the environment. The Leather Top Coat can usually be used after 2-3 hours after restoration, but the complete curing and crystallisation process takes 8-12 hours.
It is not recommended to expose the leather to cleaning agents and application of various leather care products in the first week after restoration and application of the Leather Top Coat. One week after restoration, the leather can be used without restrictions.
